This alternative to the standard Red bag is loaded with great features to make your life easier. A large 1/2 moon zipper on one end conceals a spacious sleeping bag compartment. Do away with the stuff sack and just load your bag directly into this compartment. A beefy #10 YKK zipper (the biggest and most durable zipper you can get!) goes all the way across the top of the bag so you get a huge opening to make loading the bag really easy. Inside you'll find a special mesh compression area to keep a tent conveniently tucked away. Another mesh zipped compartment holds wet clothes. Three compression straps across the top keep the stress off the zipper and helps you get the bag closed if you're trying to overstuff it. Hideaway backpack straps and a shoulder strap come in real handy if you need to carry it any distance; to and from the bus, into spike camp, etc. Reflective tape, ID card pouch, and webbing handle are all standard features.
