The Ambry Equipment MVP hose pack was invented and patented by a firefighter, and has been field tested by firefighters. The MVP hose pack was designed to be safe, ergonomic, multi-functional, comfortable, and easy to use.
The MVP hose pack is safe because firefighters do not have to take their gloves off to deploy hose. It is simple and fast to load and unload because of the "Release and attack" design that allows firefighters to engage the hose pack with one hand, and unroll hose with the other hand in one motion. Additionally, the MVP Hose Pack's "Deploy and charge" design allows firefighters to fight fire faster because it allows them to grab the second hose with ease. The Ambry MVP Hose pack also allows fire departments the option to add a third hose.
Specify Red or Black.
Once the fire is anchored, flanked and pinched, the MVP Hose Pack allows for efficient mop up. With the MVP Hose pack, firefighters can start mopping immediately because of the utility pouch. The utility pouch is large enough to carry "p-hose" (50' x 3/4"), inline tees, hose clamp, gated wyes, and various appliances. There is no need to send firefighters back to get mop up supplies.
The MVP pack is also Multi-Functional. The pack can be used for other purposes. For example, the MVP pack is able to carry firing devices, lunches, waters, other types of hoses, medical supplies, extra fire supplies, rope, etc. The MVP Hose Pack is safe and ergonomic because of the big hand straps and clips. Firefighters don't have to take their gloves off to use this hose pack.
The pack has a thick padded back and padded shoulder straps. The pack was designed to sit on top of the firefighters line gear. This helps distribute the weight to the shoulders, back, hips, and legs. The pack was designed to sit lower on the back, this helps create a better center of gravity. Finally, once a fire is mopped up and controlled it is time to break down the hose, and hike it out. The MVP pack has a unique design that allows firefighters to easily repack "spaghetti hose".
Great bag, fits the shortest to the tall 6ft something guys we have and does not make them feel uncomfortable. Simple design like the old FSS bags we use to own but with padded shoulders and back. Hose fits easly inside and no crazy buckels to deal with and its fast to access it. Has a top pocket weve added the wye or spare nozzle into. The pack has also be used to put a dolmar in on project work with misc stuff in. My Dept. tested 6 to start, now we have roughly 40 of them as of now with no complaints yet from the crews. But if you set them down on the line, have them well marked and watch them - they walk off quickly!

A Good Decision on this Pack
Simple design but with great reviews! We have roughly 45 of them and everyone likes them. Padded shoulders and back help from digging in. Fits the short firefighters & are tall & big ones easly. We like the big straps and the abality to replace the buckes at the station. No sending them out to someone to re-sew anything.Top pocket for are wyes and extra nozzle. Finding guys are hiking in fuel & saw stuff in them when doing project work. We pak them with 2-100 of 1-1/2 sticks and 1-100 of 1 inch.No crazy color straps or crossing them to hold hose.Just like the old green FSS bags but better. Complaints are just that they have to pick up the hose. We are very happy them. Look out of other engine crews from other agencies, they seem to like them too!!
